When should I book my installation?
Now. Seriously. Demand explodes in November and our calendar fills up by mid-October. The earlier you book, the more flexibility you have on the install date. We start installing October 1st, and continue until the week before Christmas.
Do I need to be home for the install?
Nope. Once your design is approved, our crew can install while you’re at work, picking up the kids, or sipping eggnog at a friend’s. We just need access to power outlets and the property.
What if a bulb burns out mid-season?
Call or text us. We’ll come fix it for free, usually within 48 hours. And on December 24th, same-day. That’s the Christmas Eve Guarantee.
Do you do commercial properties too?
Yes – strata buildings, restaurants, retail, offices, and seasonal displays. Reach out for a custom commercial quote.
Can I keep my own lights and just have you hang them?
We don’t install customer-owned lights. Here’s the honest reason: we can’t guarantee the safety or performance of lights we haven’t sourced and inspected, and our Christmas Eve Guarantee depends on our commercial-grade stock. The good news is leasing our lights is almost always cheaper than buying new ones anyway.
What if it's raining or snowing on install day?
We monitor the forecast and reschedule if conditions become unsafe. Our crews work in light rain (it’s BC – we have to), but we won’t put anyone on a roof in freezing rain, ice, or high wind. Safety first, always.
Are the lights energy-efficient?
Very. Our commercial-grade LEDs use up to 90% less electricity than the old incandescent lights your parents put up in the ’90s. Most customers see less than $5-$10 of added electricity cost over the entire holiday season.
Why do you lease the lights instead of selling them?
Short version: it’s cheaper for you upfront, free repairs and upgrades are included, you can change your design every year, and we handle storage.
Will the same price be quoted to me next year?
It’ll be lower. Year 2 is 5% off, year 3 is 10% off, year 4+ is 15% off – and we never raise your base rate. Locked in for life.
Are you insured?
Yes – $2 million commercial general liability plus full WCB coverage on every technician.
Do you take the lights down too?
Yes – takedown and year-round climate-controlled storage are included in every install. You don’t lift a finger from November to November.
